Reciving BOWP in Mail? How Long does It Take?

Hey Guys,

Once your BOWP has been approved, how long does it take to receive it in the mail?

Hello all, I am currently in critical situation and I am bit tensed. Could any of you please help guide for BOWP? Thank you.

I have applied for PR processing (FSW) through Express Entry and my eligibility is met and R10 ok. I am currently in Canada on closed WP. My WP will expire shortly (approx 2 weeks) and I need to apply for bridging WP in CIC online. I cannot apply for closed WP extension and my company doesnt encourage PR processing. So, i need to apply for BOWP through CIC online.

1. How to apply for BOWP through online. Could you please help step by step procedure on how to apply through online for BOWP?
2. Documents / Forms required for BOWP processing online.
3. I assume i can apply online. Or, should i apply through paper application? Please guide.

Relax, if you have received R10 complete on your file you will get your BOWP. Complete the online questionnaire for a work permit, select open work permit for new/same employer (doesnt matter as its open work permit), attach a letter of explanation with your express entry AOR attached as well as your current work permit

Is flagpoleing (doing a border run) needed once your recieve your BOWP approval or do they just mail you a visa and that's all?

Hi,
you will just receive your BOWP by mail. No further action will be required from your side.
