Recieved PR card without landing

Hi,
I was stuck in my country due to Covid before I could do landing.
My COPR was expired and was not able to travel due to personal issues.
Since now situation is better and I was planning to travel. I received my PR card photo request.
I sent photo and received card delivered to my Canadian address.
My friend brought PR card with him.
Can I travel with this PR card now?

The email you received most likely told you to follow different instructions if you were outside of Canada / no longer in Canada. Did you tell IRCC that you were not in Canada or did you follow the in-Canada instructions? It sounds like you followed the in-Canada instructions which was not the right thing to do.

I dropped an query saying I am outside Canada right now, but still I got photo request which didn't had any instructions if you are inside or outside Canada.
In this case what should be done?
What will happen if I travel with this card?
