Recieved PR card but not COPR or stamped passport

My Wife and I applied for express entry and submitted July 17th 2017. Our status updated to medicals passed about 3 months ago.
On October 21st we received a forwarded email containing our PPR message. It was forwarded from our immigration consultants we had employed in our previous PR application back in 2014. This application was rejected due to minor errors then resubmitted but not accepted as the program had reached the cut off for applications. We had not used these immigration consultants for our current application so we thought it was odd but just assumed they had sent to the wrong email address. All other details in the letter were correct and matched our current application details.
We sent our passports, photo's and letter to the Sydney, Australia consulate (we are applying from outside Canada this time) and they were delivered on the 24th October.
We are still waiting for our passports and COPR however today we received another email from the immigration firm stating they have been sent our PR card (the consultancy firm is located in Canada).
We have no idea what to do now, we are having a friend in Canada retrieve the PR card from the immigration consultants but beyond that we don't really know how to proceed.
Has anyone had anything similar happen? Or know how this could have happened or what to do about it?

Contact CIC immediately explaining the situation and make sure to mention that you no longer are using a representative.
They will have to remove the representative from their records and then tell you the exact procedure.
Rest assured, your PR status will not be affected for any of these.
Once they remove your representative in the records, you will get your passports along with COPR in Australia.

But make sure you ask them to remove them first to avoid any further mishaps!

Thanks for the advice. It turns out the company had the wrong name and the PR card wasn’t ours (similar name). I sent an email to CIc to remove the representative from our file anyway just to be safe. Now we are just back to waiting......
