Recieved Medicals -Wife Pregnant -Cat-4131

I just recieved my medicals. However , my wife is pregnant and she cannot go through this process. Now what to do ? . I have read across the forum , some replies are that I can go ahead with the medicals and later my wife and new born can proceed. So Please advise me.


Another query, I already have a 1yr old kid... Can this cause a negative impact on the case as I 'll be immigrating with two kids ( somebdy told me that they pay 400$ per month for each kid in canada) .Though I don't require them. However, will they consider it to be burden on canadian govt?

I am in a dilemma, kindly suggest me what should I do

contact one of the DMPs listed in the medical request, he may give you an advise. or post a message to qorax/ rocky etc.

Regarding, no. of children, it doesn't matter. You can proceed with confidence, no problem at all. Canadian Govt extends welfare measures with the tax they have collected from citizens. Wha will they do, if you give birth to 4 more children after ur immigration? need not to worry about it. They assess your qualifications as a potential immigrant. All the best.

Also , I just checked my ECAS status , it show "In Process" and Medical results have been received. . Though I have just got my medical forms and not gone for the medical yet. What may be reason

Yes, it has been reported by many applicants in these forums now a days. May be some system error.. Need not to worry about it.

Hi There

Your wife can also go for the medicals - she will just have to go for the X-ray once baby is born. They will keep it pending. But good advice on this topic already about calling the DMP and getting their advice.
Anyone else wants to input?

Regarding the number of children - i think the only thing you should be concerned about is that the proof of funds might need to be shown for 4 people instead of 3 people. see the website for the required minimum funds...
