Had my upfront medical exam on 23rd Nov, 2024, Applied for my PGWP from outside Canada on 7th December 2024, on 14th February I received a letter (IMM 1017 E) in my IRCC account asking me to do a medical exam within 30 days. I am now confused as to why this even originated - my guess is that it is an automatic generic request because my time in Canada exceeded a threshold (5 months)

I did raise a webform where i sent them my IME number from my e-medical: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1 here, but only received a very generic reply:

We’re experiencing a high volume of requests, so our response may be delayed. We’ll respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

I also emailed my hospital where medical was performed, and they told me they have forwarded my concern to the embassy. Is there anything else I should do? can anyone share their experience?

Unfortunately, this is very generic and I don't really think my upfront medical has been linked with my application yet. My medical still says pending. Waiting for updates. Please let me know if someone has something to share.
