Recieved an INTERVIEW CALL TODAY from CHC!!

Hi guys,

Finally after exact one Month from applying (12 july 2010)!!..Today at around 2:30PM i got an interview call from number 01725050300 and she asked me everything from My University to my Family and even my mom's Family. And one thing she asked me around 5-6 times was that " Are you Married & do you have children?? " .. AND i keep on sayin NO!!!!!! And in the end she asked that if you are not married DO U HAVE a Girl Friend!!?

..According to me My interview was fine!!! and i gave it with full confidence ... Now it gave me sign that they are finally looking on some files!!... but she didn't asked me to get the medicals done.

What u ppl say when can i expect a Medical call !? its 12 Aug already!

i recvd the call around 12.20 pm today from the same no. she only asked me if i have taken loan. she did not ask anything else.

I think its good singn, I too recieved the call just after one day from submission of my file to CHC and guess what I got medical call in just 3 working days. Now I am done with my medicals and waiting for visa. I recieved the call from same no. as yours. and can you tell me about the name of the caller I forgot it in tension of interview and also asked me the things mentioned by you except about marriage and mothers family. I hope you too get it.

Hi Feb2004,

I did my medicals from Fortis hospital chandigarh. on 9/8/10. I submitted my file on 29th july, got interview call from chc on 30th july and CHC issued medical papers to me on 2nd aug. but I got little late to take medical appointment because of confusion between me and my consultant. but now I am done with my medical waiting a call from CHC to resubmit my passport. I think you need take med appont 2 to 3 days in advance. It can be early if dates are available.

hey frnds i too got a call from consulate office today . All she asked me was why did i opt for that university ... And if got any schlorships or nt ?
Im hell nervous nw .. As they are about to give a final verdict to my case
Any opinions or predictions ??

@dhaliwal she asked me also about my University and scholarship if any. Don't be nervous have faith in GOD..

I am a newbie to this form...... I have applied for algonquin college for the SEP intake for Diploma course. I have got 6.5 Band IELTS ( British Council- Does it effect my file)
my File reached to Delhi CHC on 26 july and still under process. And also No Reponse usally after 10 days they give a interview call....Some are getting visa in just few days and some are getting so delayed. why???
I have heard that those who have applied after 1st july are all asked to attend a personal interview at delhi & All those who apllied lately like me got very less chance of acceptance.... Is it True????

No.. bro this is not necessary evry1 called for interview... its depend on ur luck......
by the way yet time embessy is overload of canada spp visas nd they have not enough time to call evry1..
i also submitted my documents on 19th july.......n still under process.......
keep faith on god, pray hard.. u defiantely got visa ....

Thanx for ur response..... I am very confused.... in this forum one did got visa in just one week he applied on 29 th july and got visa.... one more thing when my passport was issued i found a stamp on it saying "immigration check required" one of my friend told me that this stamp needs to be removed and so re submitted my password for clearing the stamp. Now they have stamped on it that immigration check done....... Does it effect my application(student SPP) for this long delay.

my status changed today at about 1pm stating 'in transit' and now it is 'ur passport has been dispatched .courier vide awb no ...'
Wht do u think guys does it mean i have been approved or rejected ?

No bro thats some kind of Bull*censored word* which you have heard from others i guess!! .. dont go after those sayin's. Have faith in GOD and Pray thats wat we all can do??
