Recieved A Call from Chandigarh Embassy About Collecting Letter

I applied for visa on 1/12/14. My file is still under processing at visa office chandigarh.
Yesterday i got a call from embassy and they said me to collect the letter from them through the agent or by yourself
while also said to give photocopy of my passport.
What does it mean?
Any help would be appreciated.
