Hi there, I recently received a new passport as my old one was nearly expired. I have it with me in Canada now.

However, I have an ITA and am filling my application. Do I need to declare anything about my old passport or will they ask to see it, to verify any stamps perhaps on it?

If i remember correctly, you have to provide all the stamped pages of your current passport not older ones.

but keep your old passport well so you can cross-check your travel history.

Remember that your passport details in your application have to match your current, valid passport.

Thanks.

I lived in Queensland for approx 6 months in 2011, so I think I need the document about the driving history for that. However there has been no response in near a month from them or any activity from them - I assume due to COVID they may be closed up. My old passport is stamped with arrival/departure, but not my new one of course, so I am a little worried that this may be a stumbling block if they do not get back to me in time, but it would probably be risky not to declare that travel history even if it is 9 years ago.

Declare everything, without exception within the last 10 years. Doesn't matter if it's a bit extra hassle.

They are very thorough on their checks, and they will cross-verify with other countries.
