Hi, I have got a recent surgery on my leg between knee and ankle before 2 months, I have a stainless steel rod inside my leg. will have any issues in medical or study & work visa?

Have you applied for Visa? If Yes, Did you surgery affected your application?
 
They don't even take leg's picture or ask about them. They will ask if you have tribulus and take blood test for HIV and other viruses.

Some doctors do a full body exam and you are required to bring up any big medical issue or disease and medications you take or it is misrepresentation. Panel physicians should be doing a faste head to toe exam and also testing your blood for viruses but also organ and body function.

I had surgery too on my elbow and I declared [verbally] it during medical exam. The doctor made a big deal about it and made me feel like a crippled. However, it didn't affect my visa application.
