Recent First Time PR Landing Toronto Pearson Airport

Hi All,
Has anyone recently done a soft landing at the Toronto Airport? If yes, can you please share your experience and how much time the whole process took? Also, can we travel back from Canada on the same day? I am traveling from the US and want to finish my soft landing and return the same day. Please suggest. Thanks!
