receiving the email after 30 days

hi evryone, there is something confusing me, immigration canada asked for my passport via email today and at the beggening of this email stating that file will be closed if i didn't answer them after 30 days and in my ecas they said that they send me email in 6th of july how can email take more than 30 days to be send and if this 30 days they talking about since i recieved the email or since the ecas said they send it to me we are so scared, what do you think guys

30 days since your received the email , is there an attachment to the email , check the date the of the attached documents and see when they prepared it .'ecas is useless and unreliable tool .
