Hello soniasmith,

How short of the days were, when you applied for citizenship?
1095 - ???

I'm asking because I might apply before reaching the this figure a few days short.

Thanks

Two months.

My suggestion to you would be NOT to do it. It's not worth it at all.

So, you are saying that your entry stamp for usa exists but your canada entry stamp or CBSA entry is missing correct?

Is it the canada entry stamp or CBSA electronic entry or both?

How did the CIC officer notice this? Did the CIC officer matched the stamps with your residency calculator or he checked the stamps with CBSA report? Did he have the CBSA report?
I don't know what is the reason. I got a letter asking me to explain why the June 2013 entry is not listed in my residency form which they say they found in their record. There is US customs stamp for the same day which makes it obvious that it was a day trip. My guess is that the person issuing the request didn't check his/her report against copies of my passports.

Did you send the copies of all pages of your passport with the initial application? I suppose you sent only biographical pages and thus he wasn't able to check it.

Did they notice this issue during interview? How did your interview go?

By any chance was it June 1st 2013?

You should send a cover note explaining the situation that it was a day trip and that's why you did not mention it. Also, did you get the i94 records to see if entry of June exists on CBP side?

Yes, I sent all copies including the one with US stamp and my interview went well. The officer spent few minutes with me, asked me where I work and checked all my id's. After that told me because I have long travel history they need to verify my dates from their end.

I wish you good luck for your citizenship application.

I thought that the entry for June 2013 was missing in CBSA records. I think i misunderstood what you said.
CIC was concerned that why you didn't declare the June 2013's entry in residency calculator which they might have found in the CBSA records and they didn't realize that it was a day trip. Ideally they should have cross checked CBP stamp with CBSA entry to ensure it was a day trip rather than sending you the the CIT-520 form.
All I can say is that as you had many trips, that's why they have asked you for the information to cross reference.

I suppose you have applied with enough buffer exceeding 1095 days so that such small things don't cause any issues with you?

Have they asked for USA entry/exit records in the form or something else as well?

Hi All,
I applied for citizenship in October 2012 and received the RQ in August 2013. I sent back the RQ with supporting documents in Sept 2013 but haven't heard back yet. I am wondering how much longer do I have to wait before I receive my test date? Does anyone know, thanks in advance

Usually when you submit RQ, it will take upto 36 months and more too depending upon case to case because if you get RQ, your application becomes non-routine.
You may call the call centre to confirm status of your application.

I got oath invite today. It was sent on Feb 11, which is 10 days after I sent CIT 520 reply.
