Seems like this email is in general for everyone.

Yeah, all these updates today as the fall semester is about to start and students were getting restless regarding the applications. In a way trying to re-assure everyone.

Then it seems only those who have either received AIP or have given biometrics got this email. Or maybe they are sending it out slowly. I haven't received any such email yet (no AIP and biometrics not done).

Where are you from. Me too have not received any mail but my friends who submitted on same timeline has received I wonder if anything is wrong with my application

i have received this email as well. I have applied for study permit in April 4, biometric done on Aug 18., medical up front passed. no AIP. what does this mean? is it a general email for each and every applicant to let us know that they are in process to issue or decline AIP at first stage??
