I've received the student acknowledgement letter around 8 days back but the review of my application hasn't started yet. Is this okay? How much longer is it going to take?

Its normal, biometrics will be first uploaded then upfront medicals if any was did followed by a background check/medical request if upfront wasn't done/eligibility review/approval or refusal

In general, how long does it take after it goes under review? I've passed my medical. And they don't need my biometrics. How long is it going to take approximately?
