Hi all,

This morning I received an email saying your are entitled to free pre arrival services.
Im living in Canada and applied inland.
Has a decision been made?
When I checked my status it says Decision Made (hyperlink) when I click on it it just says my application was received last year and that they sent a letter to me which I already replied to.
Anyone else get this ?

Thanks in advance.

Pre arrival services email is a good sign and the fact that your status shows as decision made is another good sign. Sounds like your application process is complete. Congrats!

I want to believe that if we receive a letter of Pre Arrival Service is a good sign. I received this letter last month for my parents for PR application. I am the sponsor but I am still worried because I wasn't approved as a sponsor due to low MNI I was short of $200 for the taxation year of 2012. IRCC transfered the application to local visa office in Manila then they asked me other evidence that can support our income. We sent our 2015, 2016 NOA then after 8 months of waiting I received a letter of Pre arrival for parents then after a week I got a request for PCC,Medical and RPRF. So my question is if there is no issues on health and background check are they still going to refuse my sponsorship because of my income? Because I haven't receive any notice if my sponsorship is approved or not. I am still relying on the Pre arrival letter because why they sent us a pre arrival letter if they are going to refuse it eventually?

I assume that because you were missing the $200 they asked for your more current NOA. Actually you got lucky because your application took so long to process they asked for your more recent NOA to make sure you had 3 years in a row above minimum income requirement. Had your application been processed earlier you would have been refused. Think you have nothing to worry about!

Yes I am hoping that the outcome for this is good. But im still worried. My parents and my siblings got medicals done last Tue and it was everything fine. And my parents have schedule on January for pre arrival orientation. While waiting for PPR hopefully.

Don't worry. You don't move onto medical and definitely not pre-arrival orientation without being on the path to PR. Knowing your parents will be coming to Canada must be a nice holiday present!

It is strange! I thought they send pre-arrival to 100% approved cases. But interview after? So what happened please tell the final results. Thanks

Yes, you are right. You are approved. Again based on my own experience, after I received the letter I called immigration and they confirmed I was approved and would be called for an interview shortly. When I arrived they asked my sponsor if they are willing to still go ahead with the sponsorship, I paid approx 50 for my pr card. That was it, I was approved and haven’t look back since!
