Hey there,
I received the PPR email today (AOR 19th Oct) and within the email there's reference to sending off your passport but also just photocopies of your passport. The email states if you have a US Passport or are a citizen of a country that requires an eTA to travel to Canada then you should not sent your passport, but a photocopy instead?
So being a UK citizen with a British passport, I assume I do not send my actual passport but rather a photocopy of the passport photo page? So in the letter I send should be:
- Photocopy of my passport photo page (+ my wife who is secondary applicant)
- 2 photographs of myself and 2 photographs of my wife (one with name, DOB etc on the back)
- Annex A
For Annex A, do I literally print that little box out, add my mailing address to it and include that in the envolope?
Finally, I'm slightly confused that if I do just need to send a photocopy of my passport, why that's even needed since I already uploaded scans of all passport pages as part of my PR application so I'm essentially sending them something they already have!
Thanks!
