Hello all,

I received PHAC approval letter yesterday for my mother, just curious would the third country rapid covid test still required If my mother fly from Pakistan after receive the exemption letter from Pakistan? appreciated for all reply in advance.

Hi ,general que,did u applied phac with the visa application or you sent them after submittin the visa application and are you are pr holder ??

Of course. Just because your motheris allowed to come to Canada it doesn’t mean that she gets to skip the steps that are in place to make sure Covid isn’t brought into Canada. It is also not a rapid test she is required to do a PCR test.

Yes - it still applies.
 
Still on the PHAC approval please. I applied for my mom (British national- no need for a visa) and included my 3yr old nephew on the application ( also British- she has sole custody of him). The letter was approved but only has her name on the approval. What do we do about my 3yr old niece please. Also, do they need any additional approvals to enter Canada? Thanks all!

Unfortunately,Your nephew/niece is not eligible to travel until restrictions are lifted. Extended family members need written authorization to travel and he is not considered your extended family. Your mother having sole custody doesn’t make a difference.

Also noticed that she is not a PR or citizen which means only immediate family can try to apply to come to Canada.
