Hello everyone,

So I received PGR on Friday. Now along with them asking for my husbands police check they are also asking for " evidence of intention to re establish in Canada" examples (job offers, rental agreement etc) and also they are asking for " intent to reside in Canada" ....now when we submitted our application I already sent all this stuff such as " rental agreement, my job offer( I'm the sponsor) and flight itinerary that I was going back to Canada. I have been in Canada since May working and waiting for my husband to be able to come to Canada. Now are they requesting this information in my husbands point of view?? (What his job plans are and such???) What are they wanting from him? Please help thank you in advance

I'd imagine that applies only to the sponsor. It seems you've sent good evidence but did you let them know you moved back to Canada? That would be the one unquestionable indicator of intent to return.

It's regarding the sponsor.

Send what you sent again as well as proof of address in Canada as well as proof of Canadian employment and explain you are already living here.

I did...I sent them a flight itinerary! But I'll just attach a letter with some evidence like pay stubs from work and a bill of sale from a vehicle I bought along with a rental agreement. That should cover it?

Yes. Send in proof of your job, your residence, and your vehicle.

Usually they just want proof the sponsor intends to return to Canada. However, if they specifically asked you for two things - intent to re-establish, and intent to reside - they may also want proof the applicant actually intends to live in Canada. It seems a bit odd, but I would include any proof you have that he is going to be living in Canada. You could write up a plan for your life together in Canada - you have proof you are already back, working, but you could also include the types of jobs he hopes to get, or if he plans to study, etc.
