Hi,

I recently got my ITA under the CEC, but I also received an email from OINP letting me know that the decision on my nomination was positive but that my EE profile and Job Seeker Validation code let them know that my status was "no longer available for nomination". OINP now awaits directions. My Job Validation Seeker code did expire about a month ago, may that be the issue?

My questions are the following:

1) Can I still accept the nomination although I already received an ITA?
2) If so, is there any advantage to accepting the nomination?
3) Else, is there any inconvenient to accepting the nomination, such as delays in the file processing (I have not applied yet) and so on?

Thank you all for your time, and happy holidays!

I'm not an expert on PNP nomination, but the whole point of the program is getting ITA if you can't get one without the extra points. If you got an ITA, you already achieved that goal and you won't have to stay in the province that nominated you.

If I were you, I would just go with the CEC ITA.

Thank you for the reply.

I thought this might be the case as well, however, I wonder if maybe being granted a nomination from a province could streamline the CEC application. I really don't know.

Anyone else has some input?
