Hi guys, happy to share that I finally received my COPR.

Timeline as below:

Category: EE FSW
AOR: Feb. 2020
Remed request: Jan. 2022
Golden email: Mar. 2022

COPR valid for 1 year since medical exam request passed.

But I have one question: can I do short landing nowadays? I kind of remember seeing somewhere on this forum that short landing is no longer an option? We all need to land permenantly in order to continue PR status?

@legalfalcon your opinion is also highly appreciated

You can short land as long as you are fully vaccinated.

What do you mean by "short landing"???

Like you, I also got COPR today. I am going to land in Vancouver this summer, but I am still having a job here outside Canada. Therefore, I will stay in Vancouver only for a while like a week, then go back to my home country. I am wondering if this is what you call "short landing"

Yes, this is also described as short landing.

Right. But if you want to be fully vaccinated, should one get the vaccine done 14 days before traveling?

Again, no. Please read the website again. That's not what is says.

You must have taken your 2nd dose if a 2 doses vaccine min 14 days before travel. My question for those who knows my 2nd shot was taken on july2021... Will be travelling end of may... Should i take a third dose in your opinion ? Or can i take it once i am in canada ?

It's your choice. Either is fine.
