Hi Experts,

Please help me in solving or suggesting to my query. Thanks for your help in advance.

I have received to submit Medicals from NDVO on 24/1/13. But, I have a special situation. When I applied orignially in Feb 2010, I am Principal Applicant and my wife is my dependent. We have cleared first phase from NS, and then 2ndn round from NDVO during June'2010. My status changed to "In Process" in Jan'2012. But, I have tragedy in June'12 as my wife expired suddenly. I haven't intimated the NDVO as I was in shock and tragedy as this happened all of sudden.

Now , I have received e-mail to submit medicals for myself and my wife. What should I do now?

Should I send only my medicals and along side requesting NDVO to remove my wife name on appln? I have all supporing evidence towards my wife death. I am sure I will still have enough points as I have got MS + 6 years work ex in US but currently in India.

Will there be any chance of delaying or rejecting my appln due to this?

Please advise.

Sent you a Private message. Please check. Your application, quite unlikely to be rejected. Will be a good idea to write a letter to VO and send along with medicals, about the possible reason for not informing them until now, the events of destiny.

Regards

sorry to hear about your wife.
If you still have the eligible points without your wife's education or her close relatives being Canadian citizens/PR then this wont affect your application.

You can do medicals for yourself and send in a letter with proof updating on this.

Thank you Knight_Crusader & Centaur. I have checked eligibility points with my new status. My points are 72 and pass points are 67. So, I think I am Ok with it right? Regarding Proof of Funds , How much do I need to show? I can show around 25,000 CAD just for my self as money deposited in bank accounts. Will that be sufficient?

Also, I have sent RPRF fee when I sent my full documents 2nd time to NDVO in June 2010 itself. So, that should be suffice right? I don't have to send it again as it is huge amount around 27000 INR.
