Dear All

I received Medical forms & request to pay RPRF from London Office yesterday. I need advice on two critical issues

1- I have already submitted the Right of Permanent Fee along with my Full Documents to London and

Banking records confirm cashing the draft

Surprisingly, They asked me to send them the fee in their last correspondence

If I don not send the fee in 90 days my case will be closed. What is the best course of action ?

2- My wife has just renewed her passport. In case London request our passports what should I do ?

I highly appreciate your promptness and professionalism

Regards,

Banquo

Hi Banquo

The fees which CHC have requested are different than the initial fees. So you should make it ready and send it to CHC one you complete you medical.

With in 3 months the CHC will request your passports that time you submit the valid passport, so its not necessarily to be same passport which you start process with it.

All the best

Thanks Rami

Here is the story

I sent 2 drafts one for the processing fee enclosed with my initial application to NS and another draft for the

RPRF enclosed with my full documents submitted to London.

Are there any other fees that I did not know of?

Please help

I will leave the question about "the timeline of passport request after medical from london" to be answered by one of the forum's experts

Cheers

Yours,

Banquo

but how you send the PRRF without request from CHC, what I beleive, you should send new draft cheque and later on you can inquire about the previous one since it should be in your file.

One of my firends has made 2 PRRF cheques since the first one was rejected from CHC because it was issued by Exchanger and not issue by a bank.

Regarding the timeline to receive passport request after medical, its with in 3 months however, I have 2 friends in Dubai got recently passport requests after exactly 40 days only

Rami,

Thanks a million for your feedback

You are right the Draft was issued by one of the currency exchange and that is likely why it was not accepted

Your suggestion should be suitable under the present circumstances

I am very appreciative of this forum and the role it plays in helping many independent candidates successfully complete the processing of their cases.

Thanks to all of you

Sincerely,

Banquo

Dear Banquo,

Exchange house drafts r perfectly accepted by CHC. There r no issues on that. I've done so (for both -Apps fees & RPRF) & it got encashed too.

Now abt ur repeat RPRF asking by CHC, alongwith meds: Probably it is just an oversight, unless CHC sent u back ur previous draft, or wrote a letter staing the unusability of the old draft. Did they? If yes, the outcome is understood. Either that draft got time barred, or there was a technical issue involved. In that case u'll have to send another one again.

But, if it is not so, then do not send a repeat draft, rather write a letter to CHC reminding them that u had already sent it earlier vide draft no. ..., dt. ..., drawn on ...

Await for their reply, if any & take on from that.

Regards.

Thanks Qorax for taking the time to look at my unusual situation

It is rather perplexing as my the processing fee was also through the same exchange house and has been cashed all right

Neither did London send the previous draft nor a letter declaring it unusable. On the contrary, Banking accounts of the exchange house (Al Ansari) did confirm that my RPRF draft has been cashed on the 19th of May 2009 and my e-case changed to started processing on May 20th 2009

If I am not mistaken you are suggesting that I contact London and remind them that I had already sent them a draft and they did cash it.

The question is what is the best way to contact London? By e-mail or by mail.

If by e-mail please send us their e-mail

I would really appreciate if you could provide us with a sample letter to maintain proper phraseology in the communication with London. I will certainly minimize any possible misunderstanding due to the use of non-standard phraseology.

Once again thank you for your help and continuous support.

Banquo

Yes Banquo,

I'm not just suggesting, I'm asking you to write them. But not thru a seperate e-mail. U said u have got the meds, right? And alongwith the meds came this (2nd) RPRF request, right? And probably, in the same package some other docs also were requested, aren't they?

In that case, though the meds results will go directly thru ur DMP, but while sending the 'other docs', write a covering letter, to CHC, reminding them abt ur previous RPRF draft.

Regards.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Banquo,
I guess, you must have received a receipt of payment with your AOR. If yes, make a photocopy of the receipt and attach it to a letter explaining the situation. - Job done. Nothing to worry about. I think they just send out generic letters in most cases.
I remember sending them a case specific query via email and the reply I got back was a generic statement.
I have paid both myself, (Application fee + RPRF) and still have the receipt with me.
As a man who believes in, "No job is finished until the paperwork has been done", I made 2 photocopies and kept them for such situations.

Nothing to worry about. Qorax's advise is also spot on.
Good luck.

I sent a case-specific inquiry to London. Surprisingly, their reply came only after two days.

Receipt of the first RPRF I sent previously was confirmed

Qorax I highly appreciate your help and continuous support

Good Luck to all of you
