Hi guys.
A lot of people has/had their received line disappear.so what is/was your status? And if you had any progress since what was it?and how long it took for you that progress?.
Thank you.
Now let is share if this myth has any water.

Guys can we share this happy news of line disappearance please ?.

my received line disappeared more than one month and no news yet. i think it means that an agent opened your file and started working in it so, you will get:
1- test invitation
2- finger print
3- RQ

My received line disappeared a day or two ago. I just noticed yesterday.

There seem to be differing opinions on this...

A) it's nothing (e.g. mysterious system glitch)
B) it's something good (e.g. file officially transferred to local office, some approval met (e.g. background checks), or next step is coming soon
C) it's something bad (e.g RQ is inbound)
D) all of the above.

Did any one got test within weeks of his/her received disappearance recently?
I mean of May,June, and July applicants.

The Correct answer is B based on ATIPs and various records

It means that your background check is over. And your file is ready to be transferred to the local office. Presently, for 'Routine' cases it is taking 4 to 6 weeks until your file is transferred to the local office followed by a test invitation letter in next 10 to 15 days. Nevertheless, for non-routine cases (where there are healthy chance that a candidate will either receive an RQ or FP request), it may take 8 to 12 weeks.

Hope this helps everyone over-thinking and wondering what does receive line mean!!!

Any more people with insight input, please share.
Let is elaborate little more on this topic since many people are wondering what is the value of this received line disappearance.
Cheers.

What is the official source for this information, stating line disappearance means background checks have cleared?

This is experience and share of knowledge with others, I guess. I've observed that about 95% of the information shared on this forum does make sense and helps a lot. More importantly, the anticipation date on this forum are exact.

;D

Does any one know the average time to see progress after line disappearance?
