Received job offer in Quebec, married to Canadian

Hi! My husband is Canadian and I am American. I'm a software Engineer and I just received a job offer in Quebec and was told I can get a work permit. However, my husband is Canadian too. Is the best route for immigration to Canada for me to go there on a Work Permit and then apply for PR in Canada? I know there is also a route to get a Work Permit based on being married to a Canadian so I'm confused which way is best. Thanks! We are currently living in Washington state.
