Hi All,
I received an ITA today I noticed my scores increased from 406 to 431 and when I did the comparison it was due to 2 years work experience. However, I started working June 29, 2015. Would you be kind enough to answer these questions?
1. Is your ITA assessed from the date you receive the invitation or the date you submit your online profile/documents to IRCC?
1. Should I wait until June 29, 2017 to submit my profile since I have 90 days (this is to ensure that I have exactly 2 years experience) since the system automatically updated my score early?
2. Should I go ahead and prepare all the documents I need which includes medical, police certificate, job letter, etc.?
3. Is there any other information, I should know?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

You must meet the minimum entry criteria (e.g. at least one year of skilled work) on the date the ITA is issued. However, your CRS will be calculated both on the date of the ITA and when you submit your eAPR - as long as your score is above the cutoff at one of those times, your ITA will remain valid.

1. Should I wait until June 29, 2017 to submit my profile eAPR since I have 90 days (this is to ensure that I have exactly 2 years experience) since the system automatically updated my score early?
Yes.

2. Should I go ahead and prepare all the documents I need which includes medical, police certificate, job letter, etc.?
Yes.

And - congratulations!

As per CIC website, 1 year of full time employment is defined as 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours) . So if you work 40 hours per week in your current employment you would have completed 1 year before June 29 and that's why you have more points. How many hours you have mentioned in your application ?

That is incorrect. One year of full time employment is one calendar year = 52 weeks.

IRCC gives the hourly equivalent - 1560 hours - so that part-time workers can calculate the full-time equivalence (which by definition will take longer than one calendar year to complete).

Hi All,
2. Should I go ahead and prepare all the documents I need which includes medical, police certificate, job letter, etc.>
Just one quick edit - for your current job, it is best to get the letter of reference after you complete the 2 years (the date on the top of the letter will be used to calculate your experience).
