Ok, is it 490 CAD per head (for myself and my husband) or is it 490 in total?

Per person (not including dependents under 18 years old)

Oh ok ,thanks!

my husband's ECA has not been done, is it needed at this stage? What all docs i would need to submit for my spouse?

i did my medical when i previously received ITA, but due to some errors i made in my EE profile i have to decline my ITA to make changes in my EE profile.
After making changes , i again received my ITA in the latest Draw, so my question is can i use my same medical that i did for my previous invitation,
Or do i have to retake the medical.

Kindly advise.

Your medical is valid for a year, so as long as it hasn't expired, you shouldn't need another one.

Dear friends,

Today we got our IELTS Scores(my husband is the main applicant)

We have 401 points according to CIC website CRS tool. If he could get 7.5 from writing we could have 467 CRS points. He did his best :)

Now we can try to get a nomination from Ontario Human Capital Stream. Because I really don't think he can boost up his writing score. Writing is really really hard and they give poor scores. He got S:8,L:8,W:6,R:8

Do you guys think we should go for OINP or should he take the test again? WES just received our documents. So maybe, we can catch 22 March draw. :-[ I don't know if OINP will still be valid then Lips sealed :-X

all who are applying through EE are doing upfront medicals. Do upfront for all family members

Hello folks

glad to see you all here. That means you're one step closer.

I got my ITA and now slightly confused. My wife is in Canada (she's studying) and I expected to go there in 2 weeks (I have a visitor visa) and apply for a OWP. The question is can I go to Canada now while applying for PR? If yes - how much can I stay there? Is it harmful if I go there and stay for couple of months and then come back to finish my documents (if necessary)?

Congratulations everyone! :)

Welcome to the club.

Guys, I have not started anything on my profile since I received my ITA (due to exams). I will start tomorrow. I want to make my appointments for medical. My wife and I are here in Canada and our child is in Jamaica. Does my child (5 years old) need to do a medical also? Would I need a reference number to provide to the doctor so that they can properly identify me when my medical report is sent to CIC?

Yes, your child has to go through the medical test. The person who will be accompanying your kid to the hospital/clinic can carry your invite letter along with his passport. Also make sure that you mention his medical history to the physician.

NO!

not quite accurate. Yes medicals are valid for a year, but it has to be valid for at least 6 months when you submit your eAPR. So if your medicals are older than 6 months and you haven't submitted yet, do another one. And I would say even 6 months might not be enough to get PPR, you never know.

I will allow myself a month max. I did my medicals yesterday, I will submit by max 20 march.
