I received email from buffalo office regarding my final application as:-

FILE: Bxxxxxxxxx NAMES: xxxxxx xxxxx
Dear Applicant:



This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received at the Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo, New York and that a file has been created for you. Your file number appears above. Please note that this file number is different from the one that was assigned to you by the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this new file number in any future correspondence.



Before your application can be placed in processing, a determination will be made as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the decision as well as a refund.

do any one else received this kind of application as they mention that

Hi, yes it is the ARO from Buffalo, when did your full application reach Buffalo?

Hi omm, I have see your timelines that you've got ARO but from Sidney, is that right? because we referred to ARO from Buffalo Visa office (will be the 2nd ARO)

Hi dear..

Does everybody receive response letter from Buffalo that Embassy(Buffalo) have received the documents? I send them my application and all documents in July 2009. I used to check status by putting my File no # received from Sydney in April and it used to show status as "Received by Visa Office".
But now it don't show my information even don't accept that file no #. Reason it give is Either my information is incorrect(which is Not, I am sure) OR it will show status of only those whose applications are in-process.

So two question come from this above story 1) Is there any problem If Buffalo Embassy haven't sent me any letter?
2) Does it really shows the status of in-process application where ever it used to show the information with "Received By Visa Office".

Please do guide me and thanks for your valuable time and guidance in advance.

Yes i verified from UPS that buffalo received my application within 6 days. Then after that there is no communication from their side. I did send Buffalo a email last month with the file number i received from CIO. And they replied that your application processing is on time ans there is no need for further communication.

I guessed from your reply, the way you asked, that there is something wrong that i need to check in my processing. Does every one get reply from when some one send document to Buffalo.
