I applied Outland and left to Nova Scotia Canada as a visitor and applied for an extended stay. i am on implied status because i have not received a decision on my extend stay. I got conformation of PR while im here. what is my next step? do i go to an office here? what is the process? do i need an appointment?

Are you planning to flagpole? If so you don't need a VR.

If you dont want to flagpole and instead want to make an appointment they should be able to see that you applied for status, just explain when you make the appropriate appointment.

Edit: Phone typos.

ok thanks !
is flagpole just where you cross the border and turnaround ? To save on money i think its way easier to just drive 5 mins to the office near by.

what are the pros and cons of both? do you know how long it takes to get an appointment and interview at a cic office ?

You need to call your local immigration office and ask. it can take anywhere from few weeks to few months for an appt depending how busy they are.

If you just go to closest US land border, you can land and become a PR immediately.

To flagpole i know you can do it by air or land.. but im in halifax Nova scotia where the land border is really far away.. but we have a ferry that goes from Yarmouth to Maine and has options for one way or round trip.. does travelling by sea acceptable for flagpoling?

Flagpoling just means getting to a US border crossing and turning right around. This can be done by land or sea.

ok thanks everyone.. i have priced out every possible way to flagpole by land , sea and air .. each one will cost over $400 to travel .. i think waiting the extra couple months to get an appointment at the immigration office in Halifax might be a better option for me.

How is it over $400 for a road trip to Maine USA border? Unless you don't have a car I guess...

the ticket for cat ferry is $250cad roundtrip
i dont have a car.. i have to rent a car. yarmouth is 3 hours away i would have to get a hotel cause the ferry is 5.5 hours to maine at 830am and return at 230pm for another 5.5 hours .. the cost of everything adds up its just too much hassle for me.
