Hello,

I received my COPR today and was expecting to move to Canada beginning of December (I bought ticket already) as I passed the medical December 18th 2018.
But on my COPR, they ask me to land before October 29th 2019...

Is this a mistake from their side? Can I talk to someone from immigration?

It’s not a big big deal but its just that I’ll need a 3 day trip to confirm my COPR and spend an extra thousand dollars on a round trip ticket...

When did you do your medical exam? The date calculated is not based on the date your Medical Passed.

If it is not a big deal, I say let's do that. Waiting for a reply while prices are increasing may not help

Thank you, yeah...

Last question, if I manage to change the actual ticket and decide to come definitely to Canada in February, is this allowed?

Your question isn't clear. You have to fly to Canada and land before the expiry date on your COPR.

Sorry...meant to say, can I do a soft landing for 2/3 days to confirm the COPR then leave to my home country for 2/3 months and make the move back to Canada?

Yes - that's fine.

Also, check your passport expiry date. That is a factor in determining the COPR expiry date.
