Received copr but need to leave canada

I have recently received my copr and have applied for pr card, but the processing time in about 4 mnths nowadays. I really need to go to india because of family affair, how can i apply for travel document? And how long it will tak? Can i go and return back after 1 month? Pls somebody help

Once you get your pr card in Canada, you can ask someone to send it to you via courier. You can apply for PRTD from India if you want to travel before you receive the pr card.

It's very difficult to estimate PRTD processing times right now. You should assume it will take at least two months, but quite possibly longer.

I'm in the same position. Just got COPR, but want to leave for holidays. PRTD times are uncertain, but PR card processing time are now at 127 days
