COPR since June, PR card not received yet (Edmonton office)

I'm in the same position but I only just got my COPR, from what I can see the PR cards are taking around 4-5 months to arrive.

Inland Virtual Landing - COVID 19

I got 'decision made' and spousal approval on the same day as my COPR. I didn't have to land, but they're confirmed I'm a PR and I already have my SIN and OHIP. Waiting on the PR card now, but processing times are estimated to be 127 days at the moment.

IRCC Testing New Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal

I thought that was the case, as there was no mention of landing, but because they didn't say anything I wasn't sure. Thanks for confirming. It says I'm a PR and I've already got my SIN and OHIP coverage within the last week. I'm nervous about leaving and applying for this travel doc. PR cards...

IRCC Testing New Permanent Resident Confirmation Portal

I received my COPR via email, and I've had to send the photo via mail. No mention of 'landing'. Is this something I still have to do? The letter never mentioned it, and basically said I'm a PR now and just to wait on the PR card. Can I go home for the holidays and apply for a PR travel doc to...

Inland Virtual Landing - COVID 19

I just got my COPR, the confirmation email is an attachment itself. Included all my application information and then congratulated me for becoming a permanent resident of Canada. It said I don't need to apply for a PR card, just to send in a photo for it. I've done that, waiting for the card now.

COPR via email, want to go home for holidays, can I apply for travel document.

Hey! I received my COPR via email last week, and it stated I am now a permanent resident of Canada. I've sent off my ID photo, so my PR card is being processed as we speak. I would love to go home (UK) for the holidays, but I don't think I'll get my PR card in time. If I don't I've been told to...

spreadsheet tracking by application type and processing times by country

This is amazing info, but I can't see a tab for applications sent in 2019. Do you have a link for this kind of spreadsheets from last year? We applied in December and have only received the OWP last month, would be useful to update for those waiting in 2020. Thanks!

Do I need to extend Visitor Record or do I have implied status?

Hey everyone! We're in Canada, applied for Family Class PR application and OWP in December 2019. Visitor Record applied for early 2020 and accepted in March, expires end of August. Due to COVID delays, we've not heard about OWP status, let alone the PR application itself. Do I still need to...

    Inland common-law covid-19 update

We are isolating ourselves, have done for the last week or so and will continue to until it's clear.

    Inland common-law covid-19 update

Yeah, I don't have my hopes up looking at the state of employment levels right now and the predictions moving forward. Thanks for your input though. I think we'll seek financial support from the UK, if that's even and option for Brits living overseas, we'll see.

IRCC letter for OHIP health card

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. The website was worded in a way that sounds like people waiting for their PR application to be approved could apply for OHIP. Without any work on the horizon it looks like waiting for the AIP to come is the next available option, and even that is likely to be...

    Inland common-law covid-19 update

Matt currently has visitor status. Applied for visitor extension/record 23rd December which was granted a few weeks ago and is valid until August 31st. Applied for PR and OWP together on 17th December, got acknowledgement email a week or so ago.

IRCC letter for OHIP health card

We applied in December and got email confirmation of receipt of the application a few weeks ago. No letters in the post or approval in principal for PR yet. Is the 3 month waiting period after the application has been received? If so, we're already past that point as it was sent off mid...

    Inland common-law covid-19 update

We've been in Canada since May, with a trip to the UK for a month in October. We've been in Canada continuously for the last 4 months though. We were expecting a few months of no work while waiting for visas, but with the virus affecting office opening hours, people are speculating there could...

IRCC letter for OHIP health card

Hey everyone! We're in Canada and with this COVID-19 outbreak we want to get Matt his medical coverage ASAP. On Service Ontario's website it states we need: We have exchanged Matt's UK driver's license for an Ontario one and are waiting on this in the post. We also have a letter...

    Inland common-law covid-19 update

Hey! Not expecting an answer immediately, as it's still quite early. But we're currently in Canada, and it looks like it's heading for a lock down. We've heard the visa offices are closed, and to expect delays in applications. If anyone finds out an update on the length of the delays, that...

Supporting documents required for OWP with PR app

Not 100% as I'm doing this myself now, but it seems as though most people are saying one copy of each document for the whole PR/OWP application will suffice. So long as they are sent together

    Police Certificate

I have a similar situation. I'm from the UK and lived there for most of my life, and I'm applying for an inland application for Canadian Permanent Residency through my common-law partner who is Canadian. I've applied and received my UK Police Certificate. Now when I'm filling out the...

    PR passport photo guarantor?

Thanks, although I'm still not full of confidence when you say "I don't believe..." Has anyone else had this situation and had the photo accepted without a guarantor signature?
