I am an inland applicant, waiting for a decision on my PR application. However, I am planning to travel for 2 weeks to meet my family.
I recently heard that since Nov. 09, 2020, IRCC has started a new portal for confirmation of permanent residency, to ensure the applicant is in Canada before sending them a CoPR.
I was wondering if anyone here has received a CoPR after Nov. 09 and had to confirm their current status via the portal to receive CoPR? Or did you receive CoPR directly in email?
Any help would be appreciated and help me make an informed decision. Thanks!
