i have also received the same but they are asking schedule 3 (new) filled again. have you heard of this, or have they asked you also. please tell us as we are very worried. because our noc is no longer on 29 list. we are also london vo. initial appln in aug last year.

I didn't get any docs request other than medicals and RPRF. Even I don't know much about the reason for asking Schedule 3 again. If there are no changes you send the old schedule again in a new print out.

Hi All
Can anyone of you who have sent your full docs to the Visa Office London tell me about the Photos. As i have sent in my full docs with the photos but unfortunately i have written name, DOB and signature behind each photo instead of Name, Heitht and eye colour.

Anyone with the similar experience ? do you think what i did would be accepted or should i send the photos again with the correction?

THOSE WHO MADE RPRF PAYMENT.. PLEASE REPLY...

i am going to take DD for RPRF. I have to take DD of CAD 980/- (490*2) for me and my wife. The DD should be favouring "The Receiver General Canada" in Canadian Dollars payable at Canada. I have to send the DD to my Visa office which is London. My only doubt is whether the DD should be payable in Canada or not. The doubt is am sending the DD to my Visa Office at London, UK and the DD is payable at Canada, thats why. May be they will send the DD to Canada for encashing...

2nd-AOR dated 25th July 2010 saying final determination to be made on eligibility review before the application can reach the status ''IN PROCESS''. At the moment my e-cas status is ''RECVD BY VISA OFFICE'' and 2nd AOR issued me the Immigration File Nomber - Would I get any confirmation in black & white or by e-mail regaring the eligibility review results or would I straight away get call for Medical?
London Office dealing my case.

2nd AOR Rcvd : 25th July

re: the DD----when i did mine from a UK bank the DD was made payable to Nova Scotia Bank in Canada. later they didn't contact me about it. so, i guess it should be made payable in Canada.

hi FAIZ

as pre the trend so far, LDN CHC shows the 'in process' sttus straight after 'received by visa office' staus in e-cas. if it shows 'eligibility review complete' in e-cas 99% time it's a rejection.

u won't get any feedback on the eligibility assessment. once u see ur e-cas move to 'in process', u should receive ur medical/ RPRF request between the time frame of 1week to 6 months from LDN

by looking at ur timeline, i think ur e-cas will go to 'in process' by the end of September, 2010 & u can expect medical/ RPRF request in/ around/ before January/ February, 2011.

If everything goes fine - how long the visa is stamped for and what the time boundry is for reaching Canada? and how many years we have to live in Canada to become National? What do you mean by RPRF - What does it stand for? Also, what Canadians in london doing right now with my application and what checks they would go for until Medical test call is given?

as far as i know, it works like this: the deadline for u to enter Canada is the earlier date between ur medical expiry (ur medical will be valid for 1 year) & ur visa expiry (the visa is valid for 1 year). For example, if u do ur medical in January & u get ur visa in July---u will have to enter Canada by Januaruy next year even though ur visa is valid until July next year.

as far as i know, u have to live in Canada for 3 years in the past 4 year, of course withour any criminal history to get the Canadian passport.

RPRF= Right of Permanent Resident Fee (previously known as landing fee)

they have currently given ur application a file no.---after few days/ weeks/ months a visa officer will open this file & go thorugh all the docs that u have sent----if he/she is satisfied, the processing of ur application will begin & u wil see 'in process' status in e-cas, this also means that u have 67 points or more---at this stage they might call ur employer/ uni/ college to verify the docs that u have submitted---once that's complete, they will ask u to appear for medical---once they receive ur medicals they will do criminal check on u, this criminal check might take between 1 months to even a few years (depends on ur luck

Dear Shibleebd,
1-I had sent my Police Clearance Certificates alongwith the Docs per Appendix-A Checklist to London VO. Is that Ok or would they want me to send all those Polce Certficates again at later stage when the stage comes for them to start and run police checks?
2- Would the medical test call and relevent docs be sent to me by post or by email? I remember that very first AOR from Nova Scotia was sent to me by email rather sending in black and white.
3- how long the very first visa is valid for? before the medical test expires can we just go to canada for a while and come back ,as currently i am working in Egypt and want to know - can we delay our visit to canada? as before the medical results expires, I am thinking to go for a month and come back and would plan to go back in a later date to canada for completing 3 years in one go?Please correct me if wrong.
