Is that True
not true 100%
yuo get 120 days to submit your documents.. now if you arrange them quickly and send it within 2 months, dont expect an early AOR or early processing of your file.. there are already many files in queue ahead of you, waiting to be processed..

on the other hand if you send your doucments just 2-3 days before your 120 days deadline, you would immediately receive a AOR since the CHC has to acknowledge it and cannot ignore it.. because a file sent after 120 days is a rejection

CHC tries to delay it as much as they can but 120 days is their deadline as well to disclose your status.. if they have received your documents they have to send AOR.. if not receievd then they are more then happy to send a rejection

hi satish..
no worries bro.. even im with you.. we both should see it go to in process this month.
in comparision with sterion, i think the difference is that he is based in UK at the moment.. so most of his documents are from UK which are easily verifyable by CHC

And i think they do it as per the AOR date sequence

Hi Shiblee Vai,
my ecas status is still RECEIVED BY VISA OFF. my contact addrss has recently been changed two days back as i have requested to change it when i sent the full docs. to the visa off. This means that they are working with my file ?? it has already gone 3.10 days...
I have completed two years full time Post Graduation Diploma under an Accounting body after my masters.
My education year are as follows:
up to SSC-10 years
HSC-02 years
Hons. (Accounting)-03 years
Masters (Accounting)-01 year
Diploma -02 years
Total : 18 years.
My question is that how points i may qualify according to visa officer in Education category- 19 or 22 points.
one of my brother said that any post graduation degree like MBA, Diploma can not be accepted with Masters and they are to be counted togather as a post graduation and they can not claim full points (22) seperately...
Help.---

hi masmun.
3 months is the average time for ecas to change to in process.. so you can expect it to change anytime now.
Dont worry about your points now, you were found eligible by CIO thats why you are given a file number. but maybe its your education is little tricky one and needs more research for CHC thats why matter is delayed a little.

Sagar.

well, as far as i understand from the operations manual, if u have a masters degree like MBA, u will
hi MASMUN vai, asha kori valo asen

i am not familiar with Singapore CHC cases. but as per London CHC, if ur e-cas is 'Received by Visa Office' that means they r going thru ur files to check if u have submitted all docs & if u r eligible to get 67 points or more. if u r eligible do get 67 or more then it goes to 'In Process'. at 'In Process' stage London CHC' verifies all docs, make the verification calls & if everyhtings is all clear they send 'Medical request' in most cases. if medical is ok, they send PPR after 3-4 months in most cases. but this is how i think London CHC works. i guess all CHCs r same in the way they follow the procedur but they might differ in the way the follow these steps.

definitely get 25 points as long as u have 17 years' education. in ur case u have got 18 yeras' education but u have done the diploma after the MBA, i am not so sure if u will get 25. but if u would have completed these diplomas after the Honours & b4 the MBA, u would get 25 points without any doubt. but in ur cas, i personally think 22 points will be awarded by the IO.

Shibleebd ,

Thanks for your swift reply my friend.
In response to your question regarding whether I have complex issues with my education/ work experience. The answer is "quite probably" , and the reason is my documents are from Iraqi universities and hospitals (I am a doctor from Iraq, currently studying in the UK). If they want to verify these documents -say by sending an email- to the relevant university/consultant who gave me the references then it is quite possible that they will NEVER get a reply because these people don't really check their emails. I hope if they call my bosses (the consultant doctors) who gave me the references then hopefully they can confirm that my documents are genuine.
Another much more complicated problem is obtaining a police certificate from Iraq when I am actually living in the UK now .. I have sent an application to get this police certificate about 8 months ago and never gotany certificate and I don't think I will ever get one considering the collapsing situation in the country..
So I sent my full application to London without a police certificate from my home country and I included a letter explaining why is that together with a document that proves that I actually went to the Iraqi embassy in London and gave my finger prints in an attempt to get this certificate from Baghdad.
I am trying to be patient and see and how things will work .. I never had anything running easily for me and this whole application is certainly no exception.

Wish everyone the best of luck with their applications.

Many thanks Shibleebd once again.

hi SILENTHILL82
i totally understand ur situation & fully sympathise with the fact that due to some uncontrolled situation in Iraq which u had nothing to do with, u r suffering from it.

as for the change in e-cas, i think there will b no problem for it to change to 'In Process' i think by the end of this month it should go to 'In Process'. but the real problem lies after that. i think i know someone who was exactly in the same situation as u r now. he is also from Iraq. i think it's better if u contact with him & ask him what he did in that case. send him a PM & ask him for the suggestion. i think he might be able to help u. here is one of his links:

let me know if u need any further help. good luck, my friend.......................

I have a feeling from looking at some other cases that the date of the initial application to CIO plays a part too. I get the impression they try to tie it up by the date of the first submission from looking at trackitt

I could be wrong though :)
