It means that the Local Visa office has received your file and has put a date in future to open the file and check its eligibility. Average time 1 month for status to change to In Processripon243 said:

Khanbaba U R Right . It took exactly 3 months for me to get inti In Process stage. But London CHC is picking up speed.

Well your delay is due to checks as you are in Toronto and they would be just doing checks to see whether file is eligible for processing or not. Do not worry about the delay. Under the fast track system, a local visa office cannot extend the processing of case beyond 12 months (Exceptions exists) so there might be a delay in processing your case but after medicals it will be a speedy stamping.ravs said:
