Hi so you have paid fees for both?

Also one question can we use same PCC for both, I have 3 PCC from India, Sri Lanka and USA. India and Sri Lanka PCC are addressed to CIC. Can I use it for Australia or will it be a problem.

It will also be interesting to hear from somebody who has lived in both countries.

your indian PCC will be stamped on your passport too and it will mention Canada. get another one. just hope, they dont stamp next to the Canadian one as Australia will see stamps for 2 different countries and your intention may be doubtful

Thanks. It is pain though we got 7 PCC together for me & my wife and now we have to get 4 more again for Australia.

Indian PCC specifically mentions that nothing stops you from travel purposes including visa to Canada.

Good luck with US PCCs too because I think Australia requires state wise PCCs in addition to FBI one!

So you got separate PCC for both Australia & Canada?

I didn't apply for Australia, just Canada. I went in to this dilemma as I had enough points for both well before starting any PR process and chose Canada due cost factor and US proximity!

So is it direct reject and refund like Canada or a chance is given to submit the missing docs during processing?

Not all the time. Direct grant is issued only if all the documents meet the requirements of case officer and he is happy with the information provided.

There is no refund in this case. But 99% of the files get processed unless you have faked something and CO decides to reject your application.

Usually, CO gives a chance or two to upload relevant documents if missing.

Yes. I had to pay for both now...

You need seperate PCC from India as they mention the country for which this document is issued for.

Not necessary for state wise PCC for Australia. FBI one will suffice. But takes a millenium to get one. :o >:(
