Received AOR2 but not SA

I am totally confused.

Sponsor approval was confirmed by CIC agent on the phone and the file has been transferred to responsible visa office.... but we've never received any letter or email.
Principal applicant side is in process and there is 3rd line on PA but still no SA officially.
How is that possible?

If you had provided an E-Mail address; then in could've went to your spam folder.
If an E-Mail address was not provided then it's possible that SA mail was lost.

In either case contact CIC again & request for confirmation by E-Mail or mail.

We did provide an email, that's how we received AOR. The spam folder is checked regularly but nothing. When we called to verify another matter on our application, the agent told us we are already approved and confirmed all the info including the email address. He was himself surprised we didn't receive the SA.
