I have to add mine and my wife's Secondary education? What if we don't have any diplomas or transcripts to prove that?

Hi Ultra99,

I believe you don't have to add any secondary education. here is what the checklist says: "You must provide proof that you completed your post‑secondary education, such as a diploma and/or degree"- So, you will only have to prove your post secondary education. But don't forget to attach the scanned copy of your original certificates and transcripts along with your WES ECA. Hope it helps. best of luck.

I got ITA, how will I get personalized checklist? Please advise

Fill up all the details in the form that first appears and you'll be guided to the next section where you'll find your personalized checklist.

I got the personalized checklist and some questions:

1. Regarding the PCC's, it says Multiple for me and my wife. I lived in 2 countries (home country and country I worked in). CIC requires me to upload the PCC for my home country with the application:

Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? Yes

Name of document(s) to get: Criminal Record

I left my home country in 2009 and have PCC from 2011. Then I visited the country for 2 days in 2012, is the PCC is valid and can I use it?

2. My wife lived in only 1 country (country she worked in, NOT home country), but for that country CIC says NOT to upload the PCC with the application:

Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No

Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.

Name of document(s) to get: Good Conduct Certificate

However, the checklist asked for a PCC (Multiple) for her. How come?

3. Both of us have been in Canada for 2 years under study permit.

Do as the instructions say. Probably that country issues PCC only after CIC issues instructions. And it probably says Multiple because you'll need to eventually provide Canadian PCC as well.

3. Both of us have been in Canada for 2 years under study permit.

thanks for the prompt reply. Should I write this in the LOE, that the instructions require me to wait for a letter from CIC to get the PCC?

I thought if we are in Canada, we won't need a PCC? Will they ask for later in the Background Check or what?

I belive PCC's are only Valid for Six months and the OP got it in 2011... I wonder how it would help

Correct me if I am wrong

Cheers

Not needed but won't hurt your case.

You'll get an RCMP request in due course.

They also claim to have not visited that country and stayed there for more than 6 months since getting the PCC. In such circumstances, PCC is valid indefinitely.

i haven't informed OOPNP about my ITA yet, should I do it now?

Or you can wait and see if you get the Nomination and decline it then.

ok, i'll wait and see.

Funds:

I have a saving's account overseas that I don't have any transactions since Jan 2015. By May, I had a just under the minimum required for PR. My father transferred me money to help out...so a new transaction appears in June, to have a total amount more than the minimum. Do I need to explain this change?

To be safe, yes. Get a signed self declaration from your father mentioning transaction details and explicitly stating that it isn't a loan that needs to be returned to him and that it is a gift meant to help you with settlement funds.
