Hello Everyone,

I recently received admission confirmation from Memorial University of Newfoundland. I have a few questions about the study permit and temporary resident visa.

- Do I need to submit proof of fee paid for the first semester when the University has not put forward any such requirement?

- I have not received admission confirmation via post but only via email. Can I use this confirmation to apply for a student visa?

- My husband is a permanent resident of Canada and he has filed an application under family class on my behalf that has been accepted and forwarded to Islamabad. Will that be a problem in my visa processing?

- Do I need to provide fresh copies of police certificates and medical when I had already provided all these for my permanent resident visa and these documents have not expired?

BR,

1. It is not necessary to pay the fee for the first semester at UNL, you can pay the fee after get the visa, the pdf copy can be used
for applying visa application.

2. You can apply as a fresh student application for seeking a master degree in canada, the status could be chnaged to another class
whilst the person is in canada i have not idea by applyiing under family class visa.

How much it took time to get admission at UNL and what was your undergraduate gpa or %age?

Hi Alikhan44 ,
I just wanna confirm that Memorial University of Newfoundland will give addmission to those who have 2.8 or 2.9 CGPA ???

You must be very confused.

Going through your thread,i realised the following:

1.You have not even received official acceptance letter from the college. What you have is confirmation from the college(You cant use this to apply under any circumstance only if you are brave)

2.How can you submit proove of fee paid and yet you dont even have the fee structure that comes along with the acceptance letter(Not unless you are genius to know the fees off head).

Yes there will be a big problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which one do you want to pursue. It has to be one at any given time.Decide on what you want to do and stop messing your self up ok.CANADA IS OT RUNNING AWAY.

Fortunately, I know the fee structure and payment plans for memorial university.
I have had a confirmation from the university international students advisor that I can use the email acceptance for visa processing.
Canada is not running away but my precious time is. I am a medical doctor with a bright future in any part of the world and I am confident of my abilities but if I have to spend my future in Canada with my husband then it is better to pursue further education in Canada rather then from any other part of the world. That way I will be having a bright chance of being selected for Canadian jobs.
I do not think that Canadian authorities will not understand my point of view as a person with my educational background and financial status will never try to seek an early entry into Canada when I will be granted an entry in the near future any way.

I would be very grateful if u give me some idea about the possible tution fees 2014 entry for international students and the application deadline or any link which provides a clear idea regarding that.
