yes they do - it's explained on the letter that goes with the PR card, so that's probably why. I have 2 middle names, the first one is in full, and the second one has only the 3 first letters. So that's probably normal. As long as first and last names are correct, it's OK.

my wife just had the same thing happen where they missed the last letter in the middle name, so i guess this is ok?
