Reasons why i wanna extend my tourist visa.

Hello everyone,

I am an EU citizen from Latvia, and i've been staying in Montreal already for 2 months. For Latvian citizens visa is not required, unfortunately i may stay here not longer than for 6 months. I'd like to extend my stay but i don't even know how to organize such a process.
Maybe some of you could give me some examples of good reasons to apply for an extension?

p.s. my sister's wedding will be in the end of this year, so maybe it's enough for trying to extend my status?

All you can do is read the notes and apply (pay the fee), the wedding may or may not be enough of a reason to extend your stay.
