Reasons for return by OINP

Received OINP REJECTION LETTER

App Sent: 8th Jan 2016
App Deadline: 18th Jan 2016
Rejection Reason: 1 day late (received 19th Jan 2016)
Postal Verification: Delivered 18th Jan (on time)

I'm so angry, from what I'm reading on this forum it seems like they're looking for excuses to reduce their work load.

Has anyone gone through the RECONSIDERATION process for a incorrectly denied OINP application???
Any advice/help greatly appreciated.

You can try to scan the postal receipt to them. You have a ground to argue with them. Are you sure that the deadline is Jan 18 and not Jan 17?

45 days may be counted based on Canada time and not your country's time.

Hi, I am Oct'21 HCP stream applicant, While submitting OINP application I forgot to mention my travel history to Saudi for 30 days to see my father under other activities. The details are available in my passport and it specifies "work permit not allowed" and it is a "visitor visa". Will it be a problem as I didn't mention these details in other activities? Do I need to inform them upfront via email?

Please help
