Hello,
Let us all list the many reasons for which a PR application may be rejected by a CIO (Canadian immigration officer).

This will help all of us to make sure that we do not make any errors on our PR applications and (if any) that all errors are rectified before the submission.

Let's help each other out.

Thank you in advance.

Maybe I will sound rude, but I have been tracking your posts in the recent days, and you seem like a guy that loves to be repeated things a lot.
let me get this straight for you: some people that got rejected were people asking very bizarre and somehow dumb questions like yours although there is a guide that say everything so clear that your questions are just nuts...#sorry , it is a public forum to get help each other but the good way to help you is to read and understand the guide and bring valuable questions not aesthetic questions about how your application will look like in the eye of the CIC's people. have you ever tried to read the guide??

Thank you Rosty2 for replying to this post. And, I am glad that you have been a constant follower of all my posts.

The only objective of this new post of mine is to make it very clear and 'to the point' for the many others like me who want to get it right and get it right the first time.
The post is targeted towards to betterment of everyone involved.

We are here to help each other and for each of us to list down the many points for a possible rejection - will only make us more alert as I have read through many posts on here and have noticed that people have made errors that could have easily been avoided.

Thank you for your comments though.

Then I am glad to work on this exercise. If someone can help make this topic a mastertopic like the folks in the spousal and familly sponsor forum did then it will be awesome

CEC has 2 Streams:

-The PGWP stream;
-the worker stream;
so the reasons of rejections need to be differentiated according to streams.

Common rejections with the PGWP stream were due to fact that applicants applied before grad convocation date.

There isn't PGWP stream any more

Only one category: 1 yr full time (or eq.) work exp + all other details listed in doc list

I would strongly suggest before starting 10 new threads, kindly all go through the Inst guide provided by CIC and most of the times there are several threads discussing the issue OPs raise/ask... so do some research, read and then only start any new topic. That would help to avoid many mistakes at the very first place.
It is getting annoying to see 10 new threads every day on this very useful forum that are very easy to find the answers for.
This is also in "for larger good"

hand delivered by Stephen Harper..

don't forget to mention the details.. share the experience.. :P

There is a lot of people who have applied in 2012 or 2011 and are under the old rules. So we should still discuss rejections happening prior to new rules as well since there is still a lot of applicants who didn't hear fro CIC. Maybe 3 threads? One for undergrad, one for workers and one for 1yr exp workers (aka 2013 applications)?

How long is a piece of string jake....
