Keeping in view the performance of ND, yours is an exception. Here in Pakistan it seems that CHC-ISB ran out of quota for 2009.

Applicants who have their medicals done in August 2009 are still waiting for PPR.

Do not agree (As per ND) as people who have been sending full applications in Nov 09 have got their Meds and PPR request also. Its strange.

i think it depends on complexity of individual case . my case is damn slow , u can judge it very well from the progress of my case.....i am not understanding????

according to some of our forum members, it may take upto 4-6 months after submission of full apllication. I have noticed that persons who have started their first application in june/july 2009 are getting medical and PPR request and even some have got VISA stamped.

i m really surprised at their way of working, i had applied in sept. 2008 and still waiting for medical thogh e-case shows in-process since last 6 months, when i enquired about it from ND CHC, they replied my case is awating review by visa officer......this waiting is really very frustating and confusing, but we have to abide by ... no choice otherwise

I agree with you but see when the Processing starts, then they conduct the background checks before issuing medicals. Now I have seen applicants who got their file processing start on 1st Dec 09 and got meds and PPR dated 2nd Dec 09 within 1st week of Dec 09. Now how can they conduct background checks within 1 days. It is strange to understand. Its really happening for people who have applied to ND in Nov 09 as they have got their meds and PPR in 1st week of December.

True,

I remember i was filling my docs with consultant and there this chap has no idea how to do the stuff and i assisted him to organise his docs etc. He got the meds done well before and even submitted PP, on the other end i am still waiting for my meds.

Hoping should be able to get it sooner.

Pls see my sig for timelines.

i can assume that their cases might be simpler having only one year experience in same field or may have job offer from canadian employer.
It is general opinion that people having experience in govt. organisations are likely to be accepted at faster pace because there are less chances of forgery or false work experiences.

For Islamabad, majority almost 98% of applicants who had medicals in August and September 2009 are waiting for PPR.

Hi guys,

i suppose it works different from each CIC office. For ex: most of the new cases filed in 2009 are receiving the Medicals, PPR & Landing fee all together. ND office does both the way i suppose and if you all have noticed, i see that the ND office has the highest pace as of now.

rocky272727,

Have you made any changes to your mailing address or done any other communication with CHC...

I think that is the reason for a delay in my case.. as I have changed my mailing address (I didn't expect "In process" so early)... and its still not updated in the website... it seems, they will not ask for medicals + PPR until my address is updated there...

hi all

there could be many reasons behind the delay specially postal delays. our indian postal deptt. is famous all over for it's "efficiency". also it's possible that they have fixed a quota for a specific NOC and they might have reached it for 2009. if i m correct other NOC's files were processed at a rocket pace couple of months back and NOC 0111 and 1111 were not getting any news. and suddenly 90% of applicants under these 2 NOC's recd med/ppr. may be they r now again giving preference to some other NOC.

anyway, all we can do is to wait and guess. only chc-nd officials know what they r doing exactly. and hopefully the outcome will be positive for all of us.

regards.

No it cannot be the reason. Once we send a request to update address, the junior visa officer updates it in our file. So it is not primarily the reason for delay.

I hope so Sanjeev we get it soon and soon get the visa. I dont think that 0111 is delayed since I have seen applicants in this forum under NOC 0111 they applied and sent full application in Nov 09 and they received meds and ppr in Dec 1st week so thats the fastest processing. Rest you are right its only CHC ND Officials who know whats going on.
