Reason for rejection and next step

Hello all,

I had applied for a study permit application as I had gotten admission in Project Management course in Conestoga College. My application was refused and below are reasons for visa refusal, Can someone please tell me how do I rectify them and re apply ?

The refusal reasons outlined in the letter sent to the applicant on May 10, 2018 are the following:

• The officer was not satisfied that the applicant is not an intending immigrant.
• The officer was not satisfied regarding the applicant’s current employment situation.
• The officer was not satisfied regarding the limited employment prospects in the applicant’s country of residence.
• The officer was not satisfied of the purpose of visit.
• The officer was not satisfied by the proposed length of stay.
• The officer was not satisfied based on the family ties in Canada and the county of residence.

Sounds like you have family ties in Canada. Looks like they don’t feel your ties to your home country are strong enough and you intend to stay in Canada. You should order the GCMS notes to view the VO comments.

My sister is staying in Canada. Even I thought that could be the reason. I have already applied for CAIPS GCMS notes and waiting for those results. Will those notes contain more precised reasons for rejection or will it be something on similar basis ?

They will contain the reviewing visa officers comments. The letter they sent you is a generalized form related to the sections of the act that they feel you will contravene. GCMS note will contain the VO concerns related to those sections of the act that they based their decisions on.

How did your sister come to Canada?

My sister contacted CIC in Canada and got those above mentioned reasons. I still have to wait around 20 days for my CAIPS GCMS notes, once I get them only I will reapply as I still have time for my Sept 2018 intake.
