My profile:
10: 68%
12: 55%
BE (ece): 53% in 2005
IELTS: W:6.5, R:6.5, S:7.5, L:8.5 OVERALL: 7.5
Then I did software testing and networking course for 1 and half years. Since May 2007, I am working and have 4.10 years of exp in IT. I took admission in Fanshaw college for Information Security Management 1 year PG. First time I got rejected stating only "Representative Form Missing" and attached the mission form and applied again within 7 days. I again got rejected stating... failed to satisfy that PA will return after completion of study.
I applied for CAIPS and got reason as:
PA previously refused for same college\program. Refusal notes and application reviewed, no rebuttal information provided. Information provided does not overcome previous concerns. PA accepted to FANSHAW Collge for 1 year Diploman in Information Security Management. PA has Bachelors of Engg in 2005 and states a Diploma in Software Testing (no transcripts provided only copy of certificate) and training on Network and Information Technology(2006/70).PA has about 5 years of gap from academics and has been employed in in IT Field for past 4 years. PA has already has studied information security and employment as Senior IT consultant. It appears unreasonable that PA would take 1 year program in a field he already has training and experience in at such a high cost and I do not find it reasonable that PA would spend this money for this program or would have any reason or purpose for taking this course other than to gain entery into Canada. PA's grade in Bachelors are very low and 5 years gap from academics, I am not satisfied that PA would be able to handle and succeed at this course in Canada given his previous performance as a student. Based on above, on balance, I am not satisfied this applicant is bona fide student. Weighing the information on hand in this specific case , the applicant has failed to establish that they are a bone fide temp resident who will leave Canada following completion of their studies pursuant to section R216 (1)(b) of IRPA. Refused.
Now what option do I have? In the mean while I got admission in Humber in GBM and waiting for admission in Project Management Information Technology in Seneca. Seneca one is most relevant to my field and definetly will add value to my profile. If there is a chance to apply again in any of the above two programs, do I need to mention why I earlier selected diff program?
Any suggestions as should I apply and what should I prepare for SOP.
