really confused

I am a applicant from pakistan and applied my visa on 23rd may 2019.
on 11 june got medical call and gave my medical on 26th. i linked my accont and my medical was passed on 5 july 2019. i applied in ryerson amd classes are from 3 sept. max time i can attemd classes is 18 sept and they are not deferring my admission cz they donot offer deferments. i applied for carleton for january intake 2020 but they will give decision in the last week of oct. what should i do if embassy asks me for a defer letter. i havent got any update in my gic from july 5 and its been more than 12 weeks. what should i do. how much time does embassy gives for submitting a LOA. can we extend it and change the university . please help

Unlikely you would be asked for a letter, you will get acceptance or rejection as normal even if its past class start time

yes ryerson university doesnt offer you deferrals

hmm sorry to hear that. Mine typically doesn't do deferral but they made an exception for me. And I am writing you right now from my evening class...

Mine allowed me to start the next academic year as they only had one intake per year. I didn't apply for visa until I had full offer letter. Their intake starts from 1ST of AUG with application opens from Jan 1st. I applied in January and I got full offer letter end of July. There wasn't any chance that I would get my visa within a week.
I didn't ask for deferral but asked if they could delay my start. Then they said they will refund my Application fee + deposit 1000 USD or defer until the following year. SO MADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!
its very hard to get in to Canadian universities and rarely any university would hold a seat for you. So I accepted the deferral. I applied for my visa in like 2 weeks. I applied well ahead of my intake start date. Which was in Nov.

More then 10 days left for your classes.
You have past your medicals - it is good results, so decision will come fast.
Try to explain to your college that you are waiting for the visa and you have been applied for it on may 23.
ANother question, have you tried to communicate with embassy?
Maybe they have forgot about your application>
