Hey all,

With CIC being quite unpredictable, I wanted to get your opinions on whether or not, it would be likely to see CRS points dropping to 420.

Please share your thoughts and also your reasons if any.

Hello! We all hope and speculate, but only IRCC and the people behind it knows when scores drop and increase. Statics say most people in the EE pool have scores between 430-410. Look at how you can increase your score, so that it is at least 441 above. Good luck!

The only way I can improve my score is to study in Canada.

Or work in Canada.

sitting @430 with hope still

If I could get IELTS 8777, My CRS would be 450 with greater chance of getting ITA. The biggest concern is my permit will be expired in less than three months. Probably have to quit my jobs by then. Anyway, just be positive :) :)

The best way to increase your score is to ace the IELTS, if you have a problem with the listening section, try the 30 hour preperation kit that comes when you apply for IELTS, I havent tried it (actually i never studied for the exam anyway, never practiced) but I have heard that it is very useful......

also try ieltsbuddy.com ... my friend used it for the writing part I guess....

Goodluck....

How am I supposed to work if no employers are willing to sponsor a work permit?

I got 9988.5.

Listening in particular can be easy or can be very hard based on your previous experiences.

I feel watching a lot of TV helps(no Kidding). If you can understand the conversations and other phrases that are unique to cultures etc, that would help you. Watch a lot of American as well as British documentaries and sitcoms. Entertaining and you get to learn a lot as well :)

Are you an inland applicant? Just curious on how you got the work permit :) Yes, most job offers are valid for 3 months or less

Your scores are mind blowing :o Employers do not give job offers to candidates not in Canada. I have reached to many of them, they respond. Just because I am not in Canada, they cannot schedule an interview. They have no idea of EE or CRS, lol.

Another option is to get another bachelors of masters degree, but they are time consuming and expensive. You will lose points in age by the time you get the degree certificates evaluated. Only hope is CRS score reduces in near future. I might take even a year, who knows.

I am actually in Canada at the moment. I haven't actively pursued employment though.
