Ready to Travel Webform

Hi all,

Do we have to attach any document to our ready to travel request? Or should we just wait for IRCC to ask us to send supporting documentation?

I can't think of any document that could support my ready to travel request to be honest. They said not to book flight tickets or accomodation so I don't know how I would be able to prove my intent to settle in Canada, other than providing a copy of my employment termination letter.

Hi Juli. Not yet - will do in w/b 2 November probably. I already drafted a CoPR extension request letter though, that includes a quarantine plan and a settlement plan.

Hello

I sent my webform yesterday.

I attached a letter of explanation including my quarantine plan and settlement plan. I joined annexes including:
- AirBNB booking for the quarantine
- private healthcare quotes
- employment termination agreement
- lease termination agreement
- gym membership termination email
- affidavits from two colleagues stating I plan to go to Canada to settle permanently and live there
- updated resume
- proof of funds

I will keep you updated when I receive an answer. I expect to have to retake the medicals. I was planning to travel on Jan 15. Might be too short of a deadline.

No. I'm stuck. Haven't heard anything from IRCC since November. What about you?

Hi Billy, no us too, we are still wait. Last Dec 2020, I messaged them tell them that I ready but no reply, no standard reply at all. On IRCC website, they say 4 weeks to get back to webform messages... seems lie.

Finally, I got annoyed wait them too long. I saw url (https://secure.cic.gc.ca/feedback-retroaction/feedback-retroaction-eng.aspx) and sent a complaint on poor service.

My complain was polite but point to them quite foolish. Why they mass message applicants (most not ready to move or worried by covid) and ask them move to Canada? I believe many of us had prepare move before covid (and covid stop move or make too dangerous), but we had already left jobs/sold house/sell furniture.... so we are more willing move sooner as we more ready and prepared.

I question their intelligence. Why go give water to everyone (many not thirsty) when can install a tap and let those who are thirsty come. They really fools.

Seems the IRCC has made no progress for these part either. I did no find many applicant say they could land. Most say they message a lot but get standard reply.

Yesterday they reply me. Base on they reply for me ask ready travel, they just say no. They just ignore my proof (quarantine plan, fund, arrange in Canada...etc) I share them. I show them all arrangement and determine to ready, but they just send generic answer that we cannot travel. So bad. Basically ignore my request and tell me shut up.

I no sure how to get them notice and respond as per request.

Just share the effect of IRCC strategy, but not sure if they realist they are no doing well. All I see if great effort but no material output effective - ruin many lives. Covid made things bad but they strategy made things worse for us:

The problem is not the waiting but above all the lack of a clear strategy.
Since December 19th, 2020, they ask not to write them Web Form and wait for them to contact you.

The method is not serious.
