Not Needed at this Time
I received my PPR back in July. Set to cross before the end of the month! I do, however, have a question about crossing!

I indicated my wife would not be coming with me; she's a Canadian Citizen (has been living down in the states with me though), and wouldn't have needed papers of her own or anything, and I read in that case you indicate they will not be crossing with you because they can cross whenever they want. Will that be a problem though when we cross the border that we're coming over at the same time? Will they question this? What would we say?

Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks for your help!

Not a problem at all. She is Canadian citizen and can cross the border to Canada whenever she want, with or without you. The thing "not coming with you" related to only "not accompanying" spouses who are not Canadian citizens or PR.
